June 5, 2012

Sick Drummer Magazine's second five-day Sick Drummer Camp will be held the third week of August in Northern California, about an hour north of San Fransisco on a five-acre private retreat. This retreat is amazing and offers seclusion, various class/performance spaces, lounge areas, hot tubs, an inground pool, billiards, hiking trails and much more. Attendees will be close to nearby stores, shopping, restaurants, wineries, a casino and many other attractions.

Scheduled instructors:

* Derek Roddy (HATE ETERNAL, NILE, TODAY IS THE DAY)
* Sean Reinert (CYNIC, DEATH)
* Peter Wildoer (DARKANE, JAMES LABRIE)
* Marco Minnemann (NECROPHAGIST, KREATOR)
* Flo Mounier (CRYPTOPSY)
* Eric Moore (SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, INFECTIOUS GROOVES)

This is not only a chance for you to learn from some of the best drummers available, but a chance to hang out with them for a week! You will be learning from, eating with the instructors and pretty much getting to know them over the course of the event. This is not your average drum camp, but more of an adventure/experience. You will not only walk away with what you have learned, but with some new friends in the drumming world and what is bound to be one of the best experiences of your life.

Visit the website link textSickDrummerCamp.com for more information and to reserve your spot now! All single rooms are sold out, but there are many double room and dorm room spaces still available. Just visit "The Camp" page on the site and there are links to make your deposit for each room.
